"There is a problem in the very first line. Variables &FileDirAndName and &Archive_Dir will not be resolved if its inside the double quotes. You have to do something like this:
&cmd = "cp " | &FileDirAndName " " |…"

"I am not of your question but there is PS delivered application engine PSARCHIVE that might be worth looking at. you might want to customize it to suit your archival needs... to can load it your warehouse so that users still have access to this data."
