"yes and yes. you can create prompt but did you USE it as a criteria is the question . please post the SQL i can check that for you"

"A query built by someone else had 3 tables joined and a subquery included. An end-user wanted to add prompts so he could enter a date range and such.
After a few hours of trial error, I was able to get the query working with prompts.
