"Go to Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Business Unit Related > Payables > Payable Options
on the Payble options tab make sure Use Current Date is checked off.

In the demo system we have set up for our client, the Accounting Date is defaulting in to the current date. However in the development and Test system we have set up, it is not defaulting the Accounting Date to the current date.This is whenever we try to create a new voucher.ThanksSee More

If you are a "functional" and the techies won't let you at this thing called app engine, you might think it cannot be done.
