First time poster here..

Is it even possible to using prompts in a query with a couple of subqueries?

I tried to filter results using a prompt for fiscal year and accounting period, but it doesn't filter out anything at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Roger,
I am not sure if I understand you correctly. Copy paste the query and the record you're using for prompts.
Regards.
A query built by someone else had 3 tables joined and a subquery included. An end-user wanted to add prompts so he could enter a date range and such.

After a few hours of trial error, I was able to get the query working with prompts.

I added the same prompts on both top level query and the subquery.

Thanks for your concern!
yes and yes. you can create prompt but did you USE it as a criteria is the question . please post the SQL i can check that for you
I have somewhat resolved the issue by adding the same prompts to both main query and the subquery.
Thank you for your help guys!
