do I have to build and do the every step to get the demo application work including the feeding in data

Probably I have not given the details of my request earlier. I have Installed successfully the PS9.0 version demo hr and I am successfully able to login app designer and web appl. However, when i open any of the application into the web I am getting errors which is expected as the tables are not build. Now my query was do I have to build and do the every step to get the demo application work ie for each and every application of HR which is quite a large job, to build it up from the scratch or is there any other alternative to run/open the vanilla applications. Also wouldn’t there be any data for vanilla applications?

How did you get the demo installed? did you do it via the datamover that comes with the setup option? If so, one of the datamover does the loading of setup demo data and build the records.

Thanks for understanding the request. Yes,I used the setup demo using datamover in the bootstrap mode as per the doc. However,I am not doing the steps for 'updating the peopletools database objects' as it is the latest tool itself n does not require any update but I do see that there it is building the objects.

In any case you have helped me by confirming that the script has to do the job.

Would appreciate any information which will help me move further.

Hi I have simple question i am new to Ps and i want to practise it, but i dont have any software with me. Do anyone know how to get a software in order to practise, or do we have any website where we can practise the peoplecode, sqr, appengine.
