Creating XML files via Integration Broker

looking for pros/cons of using this technology vs writing SQRs to create CSV files. Also, what is the resource overhead of using Integration Broker...is there another way to create XML files using PTools 8.48

You can use PeopleCode or application engine to create XML files. You dont necessarily have to use the Integration Broker. You can use Application Engine and establish a PeopleCode section that uses the XML peoplecode classes. Just look at the PeopleCode API's in PeopleBooks and you will see the XML class.

From my experiance, use IB , you might save in long run. But initially u might need a IB expert but for sqr i think you can depend on any of your resources.
